The complaints that occur in the shoulder area are limitations of movement, pain, loss of strength and radiating pain in the arm and hand. The cause of the pain may lie mainly in inflammation of the tendons and bursa, tightening of the muscles in the neck and shoulder or after shoulder surgery.

 

Our rehabilitation programme consists mainly of a comprehensive examination and treatment plan by a team of specialised therapists. The therapy is often complemented by functional training or medical guidance/coaching to cope with the rest of the complaints during daily activities.

 

Postoperative shoulder treatment is aimed at active rehabilitation.
